Mississippi passes religion liberty bill that LGBT groups call discriminatory

( CNN) Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signed a controversial religious liberty bill Tuesday, a piece of legislation that gay rights groups and the state’s businesses have denounced as discriminatory.

Protesters had recommended the governor not to sign it, saying it enables discrimination of homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
